In a recent study published with more than 20,000 participants being fallowed for an average of 11 years researchers were able to identify 4 healthy habits that stood out above all the rest that led to longer healthier lives.
1. Don’t smoke, or if you do quit!
2. Eat 5 servings of fruit and vegetables daily.
3. Exercise
4. Drink in moderation
This study estimates that these four behaviors add roughly 14 years to our lives. The study further explains that not smoking or quitting and eating 5 servings of fruits and vegetables are the most important factors of the four.
